Our MissionOur mission is to improve the health and well-being of those in need with emphasis on securing and providing food and clothing as well as giving nurturing spiritual support.
Current Needs The Peace Pantry accepts donations of non-perishable food items, personal care items and clothing, as well as school supplies. Currently the Peace Pantry needs high protein items like cans of beans, chili, ravioli, tuna, stew and jars of peanut butter. Canned vegetables are also needed except for green beans. Our Hours We are open to provide food assistance on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. We accept donations Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. or by calling 636-285-0934 to make an appointment. Thrift Store Hours: Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bag Sale Saturdays Bag sales are held the first Saturday of the month. $2 buys a grocery bag full of clothing. The Peace PantryThe Peace Pantry is a non-profit food pantry that helps people in need in the communities of Cedar Hill, Dittmer, Catawissa, Morse Mill, Grubville and those areas in Robertsville that are in Jefferson County, Missouri.
The Peace Pantry provides emergency and long term help to low-income families and individuals. Our services feed the hungry, provide school supplies and clothing and share the spirit of the holidays with those in need.
In 2018, the Peace Pantry provided food for an average of 235 families each week. Volunteers run the food pantry. They pick up and distribute food, clean and distribute clothing and sell items in the thrift shop to raise money to fund the pantry. Most of the Peace Pantry's support and funding comes from individuals and organizations in Cedar Hill, Dittmer, House Springs, Grubville and Morse Mill. We are neighbors helping neighbors in the spirit of community. The Peace Pantry is an IRS 501 (c) 3 organization incorporated in Missouri and an equal opportunity USDA provider.
